By creating an account or using the app, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use Mind Over App.
— When you sign up and use Mind Over App, we collect the details you enter, including your email address, password, and optional profile information such as a display name and profile picture. If you contact support, we also collect the information you choose to share with us.
— Mind Over App is built around your self-recorded affirmations. When you record or upload audio, we collect and store those recordings so you can play, edit, blend, and manage them. Your voice recordings are personal to you. We use them only to provide the app’s features and do not use them to identify you or share them for advertising.
— When you blend affirmations with music and save sessions, we store the session details, including the title, timestamp, music source, and your volume mix settings. A saved session stores your settings and preferences, not the music files themselves, which stay with the music service. We also collect usage data such as playback frequency, listening duration, sessions created, and progress statistics shown on your dashboard.
— Mind Over App lets you connect a Spotify Premium or Apple Music account to blend your affirmations with music. When you connect a service, we receive the access needed to let you browse and play tracks, through that service’s official interface. We do not receive your Spotify or Apple Music password. Your use of those services is also governed by their own privacy policies.
— You can sign in with your email or through single sign-on using Apple ID or Spotify. If you use single sign-on, we receive basic account information from that provider to create and secure your account. We verify your email using a one-time passcode (OTP) during sign-up and password reset.
— The app requests microphone permission so you can record affirmations, and storage permission so you can upload and save audio. You control these permissions through your device settings, and you can change them at any time. Some features will not work if the required permission is turned off.
— We automatically collect standard technical data, such as device type, operating system, app version, app activity, and crash logs. This helps us keep the app stable, secure, and improving.
— Mind Over App offers a free trial and paid subscriptions. Payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play, depending on your device. We do not collect or store your payment card details. The app stores handle billing and keep their own records under their terms.
— We use your information to create and manage your account, store and play your affirmations and sessions, enable music blending, track your usage and progress, process your subscription, provide support, keep the app secure, and meet legal obligations.
— Your audio files and session data are stored securely in cloud storage. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
— We share information with cloud hosting, analytics, and infrastructure providers who help operate the app, with the App Store or Google Play for billing, with music services you choose to connect, and when required by law. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your voice recordings for advertising.
— We keep your information, including your recordings and sessions, while your account is active and as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. When you delete a recording, session, or your account, we remove the associated data, though some records may be kept where required by law.
— You can view and edit your profile, manage device permissions, disconnect a music service, and delete individual recordings, sessions, or your entire account from within the app. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.
— You can delete your account at any time from Settings. When you confirm deletion, we remove your account and associated data, including your stored recordings and sessions, except for information we must keep for legal, tax, or security reasons.
— Mind Over App is not intended for children under 13, and users under the age of majority should use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us and we will remove it.
— Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where information is transferred across borders, we take steps to protect it as described in this policy and as required by law.
— We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email, and the effective date below will be updated. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the update.
